EMIS is to provide accurate and up-to-date information that can help educational administrators and policymakers make informed decisions, monitor educational progress, allocate resources effectively, and plan for the future. EMIS systems play a crucial role in improving education quality, accessibility, and accountability by facilitating data-driven decision-making and policy formulation. It is a software or database system designed to collect, manage, and analyze various types of data related to education.
EMIS is commonly used by educational institutions, government agencies, and other organizations and track, manage, and integrate information about students, teachers, schools, buildings, curricula, grade books, progression, graduation, national examination, the student movement, enrollment records for the Education sector’s statistics and analytic reports.
In other words, it is the education sector’s student lifecycle management system. As of today, the daily usage of this system by over 80,000 users nationwide has culminated in the establishment of the primary database for the country's education sector. Our team members have 5-10 years of experience working as project leaders, business analysts, systems analysts, and developers within the project.
×Initiated in 2019, our mission involved the development of a nationwide Learning Management System (LMS) built upon our EMIS system within the education sector. This endeavor encompassed fundamental research, development efforts, and fundraising, culminating in the public launch of the Medle.mn E-learning platform in 2021.
Medle.mn is an e-learning platform that contains coherent digital textbooks, tele-lessons, interactive lessons, workbooks, e-learning materials, virtual laboratories, and additional content by the curriculum of the educational sector. It supports formal and non-formal education by providing educational resources for preschool, General Education, Special Needs, Lifelong education, and E-Learning. The system is designed to help teachers to prepare more productive lessons and reduce the time for organizing classes. And it also supports students who use digital learning tools and students for self-study and testing knowledge.
By initiating and implementing this project, we were able to lay the foundation for a content management system that will be used for educational purposes. The main result of the Medle.mn E-learning platform's development has been a major impetus to the creation of a combined learning environment and distance learning activities. With the introduction of the e-learning platform and the e-learning content management system, the basic foundation has been laid for the uninterrupted delivery of education to the public in the face of natural, social, and epidemic situations by receiving the electronic content of regular lessons electronically and forming a common fund.
×Within the framework of the implementation of government policies such as optimal kindergarten and school budget planning, budget scheduling, and e-governance, in 2021, our team personally developed a system solution for development based on the basic data of the EMIS system.
As part of the e-governance activities implemented by the government, the "E-Budget" system to optimize budget planning and scheduling of kindergartens and schools has been started in 2021. In this activity, based based on the EMIS system, we developed a software architecture and solution for the budget integration, calculation, and scheduling system and successfully integrated the 2021-2022 education sector budget electronically for the first time.
This system is commonly used by educational institutions, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Finance, and track, manages, and integrate information about budget planning and scheduling.
×This system was initiated and developed in 2017 in order to provide parents and guardians with information related to students collected in the information system of the education sector, to expand the scope of the system and to support it. It is a system designed to give parents and guardians the opportunity to view their child's academic performance, class schedule, class attendance, semester and exam results, homework, etc. Parents can also register their children's kindergarten and school enrollment.
The parent system has been able to create many advantages for the system, such as expanding the use of EMIS, making the importance of the system known to the public, improving the quality of the information, and monitoring the information.
×With the establishment of a Medle digital school, many advantages and opportunities have opened, for students such as enhancing digital literacy, engaging in online classes with experienced teachers, expanding networking and building friendships, and exploring career pathways for students. And teachers can exchange the best practice throughout the country, equip online teaching technologies and devices, and earn additional income.
Based on the need to increase the accessibility of educational services to children living in Mongolia and abroad, we took the initiative and took the lead in determining the optimal solution for the operation of the first e-school in Mongolia and the organization of training. As a result of this work, in the 2022-2023 school year, Medle e-school has successfully implemented its activities. 11,000 students from about 500 schools have participated in 16 elective courses through e-learning by professional teachers during the entire academic year.
×In 2021, a groundbreaking food production system solution was devised and seamlessly executed on a national scale, revolutionizing the implementation of kindergarten and school lunch programs. This achievement stands out as a pivotal innovation within the education sector.
This system is commonly used by educational institutions, government agencies, and other organizations and track, manage, and integrate information about menu planning, recipe management, Meal Preparation Scheduling, Student, and parents rating and cost tracking information.
